Remembrance Day 2015

Y6 went on a visit to the Fairlop waters country park ,where they did a rememberance day memorial service. We went on a ten minute walk to get there. As we entered we met a man named Max, he was a member of the Fairlop heritage. He gave four students of John Bramston( Billy, Lenny, Tahmid and Catalin) a wooden cross and each one tells and reminds us of each person. We then did the two minutes silence at 11:00 am. We were all put into rows and infront of us there were very important members of the WW1.
Next, the staff took us to the Fairlop Water Memorial where we all stood in a square. The students (from all participating schools) with crosses were sent forward to put them in correct place. Some members of the WW1 also put some wreaths on it. Our school made some of our own poppies with different materials.
