Currency - Numeracy

Recently in Numeracy we have been looking at everything to do with currency. Using it, spending it, keeping it, counting it and dividing it. To help our understandig we set up the classroom as if it was high st. We had a tesco, Sainsburys, a Greggs and even a butchers and sweet shop. We even had a couple of rival banks in HSBC and Llyods TSB to help those children who over spent..!!
